Is there a editor for websites?

i would like to know, is there a like page editor that can take effects for YOU no one else or it would be pretty messed up, just so i can edit pages and for stuff to save the page just for me to save the changes and whenever u refresh the page you still see the same? unlike firebug though because it never saves the changes like i want me to be able to click the links i replace and actually perform those scripts. thanks
