My mac keeps restarts everytime I leave it idle for a certain amount of time. Which setting to change?

try going to your power settings
Check the power settings; it could be the amount of time that the computer sits idle before turning off to save battery.
That definitely isn't a power "setting".
Something's happening that shouldn't be happening.
You might be having problems with the battery, or it could be some kind of weird glitch.
A good tester is to create a new account.
Log into that account instead of your usual one.
Let it go to sleep, then try waking it up like you usually do.
If it doesn't have the same problem you've been having, it might be something wrong with your preference panes.
It can be a real pain to find the file that's creating the issue, so if this is the case, reply with some details.
However, if it has the same issue, it's most likely a fussy battery.
Is the laptop new?
Old?

If it's old the battery might be dying, especially if you never turn it off or have it charging all the time.
If it's a new laptop, try calibrating the battery. You do this by charging it all the way to 100%, unplug it. Let it drain all the way until it shuts off.
Leave it like this for a couple of hours.
Boot it back up, charge it all the way to 100% again. That will calibrate it.
If the issue persists, then you might need to be calling an Apple support line.
Hope I helped.
My Mac always restarts after I come back to it and it's really annoying having to log in everytime and to reload everything. I've check my system preferences, but I can't find what to change, so does anybody know what system preference setting to change to stop it from restarting every time it's idle.
